Start Where You Already Are

Practical Ways to Incorporate Steps into Daily Routines

  • pray

    • Pray while making coffee each morning

    • Use your commute as prayer time

    • Pray before meetings or school drop-off

    • End the day with a short gratitude prayer

    You don’t need perfect conditions, just consistent moments with God.

  • invite

    • Use holidays, sermon series, VBS or special events as easy invite moments

    • Reach out to one person every two weeks to join you

    • Share church posts on social media as digital invitations

    • Text someone on Saturday, "Want to join me tomorrow?"

    One simple invitation can change someone's life forever.

  • Serve

    • Participate one hour a month in church ministry

    • Volunteer at outreach events or mission days

    • Help with VBS, youth events, hospitality, tech, Sunday school or worship setup

    • Look for everyday acts of service: meals, rides, helping neighbors

    Twenty hours over a year is just a small amount of time with big impact.

  • Give

    • Increase recurring giving gradually

    • Round up each gift amount

    • Redirect one small weekly expense toward generosity

    • Take one extra step rather than trying to do it all at once

    Faithful generosity grows one step at a time.
