What is JOURNEY?

JOURNEY signups are closed for 2017. We hope you can join us next year!

JOURNEY is the annual retreat hosted by the Jeremiah Project (JP). JP is our junior high mission trip, and the organization believes in providing more than just work camps for middle school students. Truth be told, there is not much out there specifically tailored to middle school students, despite all the research that shows just how vital of a growth period this is for our youth, especially in their faith journeys.

When is it?

We leave the afternoon of Friday, March 17th and will return Sunday afternoon on the 19th.

Where is it?

JOURNEY is hosted every year at Camp RockBridge, a YoungLife owned camp in Goshen, VA. While the retreat is not associated with YoungLife, the facility is awesome! They've got a zip line into the lake, challenge courses, rope swings, skateboard park, whiffle ball diamond, basketball courts, and more!

What does it cost?

The registration cost for JOURNEY this year will be $125. Your fee covers the cost of registration, food and lodging. Checks should be made out to "Gainesville UMC" with "Youth Retreat" in the memo line.
