Our staff strives everyday to grow closer to God and to help our congregation and community do the same.

  • Pastor John has served as the lead pastor of Gainesville UMC since 1997 and has led the church through numerous transitions from a small, country church of less than 100 to our current campus of more than 1,000 people. He is a Western Pennsylvania native, and he is married to his wife Daleen, and they have four adult children.

  • Pastor Benson serves as the associate pastor in charge of Revive House Church, our second campus that is made of of a network of house churches in the Bristow/Gainesville area. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Benson married his wife Alicia in 2016 and have one son born in 2021 and two energetic Goldendoodle dogs named Bean and Duncan. The McGlones arrived in Bristow in 2017, after previously serving at Virginia Beach UMC.
